(KGET) A man died after a shooting Thursday evening in west Bakersfield. The shooting in East Lansing left three people dead and five people injured, according to Michigan State Police. Frederick Minnoy III, Melvin Carter and an unidentified third man were attempting to burglarize a home. Matthew Martinez, 37, was ordered held without bail during Friday's hearing and is due back in court later this month. Principal Wendy Burkhead said the idea was to highlight the different cultures and backgrounds that comprise the school and its student body.
